Phthalates

The EU began restricting phthalates in consumer products on December 14, 2005. Initially under directive 2005/84/EC, and later incorporated into Annex 17 of REACH. The restriction includes the following phthalates:
Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)
Dibutyl phthalate (DBP)
Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP)
Di-isononyl phthalate (DINP)
Di-isodecyl phthalate (DIDP)
